@sidereal@kolektiva.social wack but understandable in a realpolitik way. Alongside police brutality, I also wish people realized how much of a death grip a lot of police unions have on mayoral politics. They’re more than happy to also intimidate candidates who aren’t Pro-Police. It’s obscene.
@sidereal@kolektiva.social I was blocked as well. I saw there was a reply and then it was gone. Nothing says “adult” like getting upset, dropping a retort, and then blocking someone so they can’t reply. What childish nonsense.
@sidereal@kolektiva.social armchair people who just want make themselves feel better because they stayed home. Even a gathering just to engender solidarity and organize is useful. It’s like some people can only see value in collective action if they end in Bastille storming. Which they will watch from the cafe.
