Pretty sure I used up all my Nerd Rage long before finishing the lawn.

More annoyingly, the message I got didn't specify what rule I broke, or what part of the offending post was in violation.

I assume someone thinks I was arguing in bad faith.

If I'm being honest, I'm not surprised that I caught a temp ban. I'm a repeat offender. (I posted a Let's Go Darwin meme in a political thread.) My tone was flippant for such a touchy subject. I can see how that can come off as trolling.

The only surprise was the ban being a whole week.

Just mowed the lawn. I recommend physical labor as therapy. It does wonders for purging feelings of frustration.

I honestly don't blame the mod staff, they are undoubtedly overworked.

What I don't get is the person who would call for the mods rather than make a counter-argument.

I can't believe I got temp banned from RPG.net for using the word "barbarian" in a D&D thread.

I mean, it's not totally surprising. The thread was pretty politically charged.
I had a whole follow up post about how that word gets used in games. But the thread got locked before I could post it.

Now it's gonna be a week until I can post it.

@Nat1Advice Fortunately, the gut flora can keep ticking along for days after the host's death.

On the other hand, Circle of Death is a very effective sterilization spell.
