@trantion In this situation, it's worth asking why the paladin disapproves of the actions. Are they merely acts of subterfuge, or are innocents getting hurt? That changes the dynamic of the interaction significantly.

One of our player characters says he's an atheist because he's never seen concrete proof of the gods' existence (to the incredulity of the paladin of Iomedae).

It’s way more fun for him to just refuse to believe he’s a god, while constantly subconsciously or accidentally performing divine acts.

My players have semi-open access to a wide area, and sometimes I want to send them to specific quest givers.
