  • I’m always fascinated by how irrationally angry the idea of anarchism makes some people.

@VulcanTourist @HeavenlyPossum For many years I was certain the Libertarian was correct. On economics, law, foreign policy.

The more I learned about why the laws exist. How economics works. How money works.

The more I realized how naive the notion of any "perfect" system is. Especially ones that require perfect ppl.

Anarchism, requires perfect ppl for it work. Laws and government exist. Because perfect people do not exist.

For that matter. Perfection is never obtainable.

@HeavenlyPossum Insult? No, agree. I had no idea that was how you self identified before making this comment.

I am saying this from the perspective of someone in modern american politics. Anarchism, as I understand it, is silly.

    It simply doesn't work.

Its a less workable concept than Libertarian ideology (I'm aware political party doesn't equal economic ideology. But by far, Libs are where most ppl identify as anarchist).

@HeavenlyPossum Eh, I've never been bothered by anarchist.

Not reasonable to be bothered by a goup of people who are wholly unserious and cannot become organized.

Like Michael Malice type ppl. "Free market capitalism, no regulation, ayn rand aCtUALly!"

Then there are the anarchist communism ppl. I'm sure that'll work out as a system for 350 mil people.
