Tried different sizes and cuts to test things out.

Cost per batch: $2.77 for 10 oz/ 283 grams. Can you buy this anywhere? Sort of. Not smoked. Not sourdough. Lots of extra ingredients. More flour than cheese.

Cost of 21 oz box of store brand cheese crackers at Aldi: $4.19, Cost of 7 oz box of Cheez It at Aldi: $3.05

I don’t care about the cost but I do care about eating less preservatives and the taste+joy of making at home. Awesome share! Thank you, added to my to-cook list.

I’ve made Cheez-Its before and I got to say the sourdough version is so much better and would still be better even if I hadn’t used some of my smoked cheese.

        The recipe I used

          I’m coming over for dinner.

          That was a statement.

Please confirm a day in advance. Dinner is usually between 4 and 6. Please list any ingredient or texture issues.

I told my wife about your comment. “Did you ask them what they bring to the party?” “They are from Canada so they bring healthcare.”

Nah our healthcare isn’t as great as it seems. It’s free, so there’s that. I’ll bring maple syrup and poutine instead.
