Yum, looks similar to chicken arroz caldo which is amazing on a cold day. Pure comfort food.

Comfort food indeed! I always associate congee with foods you eat when you’re sick. Like the equivalent chicken noodle soup. Blame my parents. xD
Shredded chicken, ginger, fried shallots, and cilantro go well together too

They’re actually pretty much true same things, but the only difference is Goto is made with Beef Tripe and Arroz Caldo is made with chicken
