Yum, looks similar to chicken arroz caldo which is amazing on a cold day. Pure comfort food.

      Arroz Caldo

Arroz Caldo is comfort food at its best. This Filipino-style rice congee is tasty and filling with all the toppings. Great as a snack or meal!

Comfort food indeed! I always associate congee with foods you eat when youโ€™re sick. Like the equivalent chicken noodle soup. Blame my parents. xD

Shredded chicken, ginger, fried shallots, and cilantro go well together too

Theyโ€™re actually pretty much true same things, but the only difference is Goto is made with Beef Tripe and Arroz Caldo is made with chicken ๐Ÿ˜‹

Hoy Kabayan! We still have some left actually so youโ€™ve got a chance ๐Ÿ˜… Yeah theyโ€™re all the same thing tbh Goto is made with Beef Tripe, Arroz Caldo is with chicken and some added saffron and optional but recommended hard boiled egg ๐Ÿ˜‹ Lugaw is basically the same as Arroz Caldo.
