Isn’t it pork? In many places you have to cook it completely.

Definitely beef. Look at my other reply to see where he went wrong.

Looks like it was cooked until it turned into boot leather. But if you enjoy it that way, more power to you.

I guess it’s a beef steak but it about looks like a pork chop!

It’s shark week here which means fighting her crippling anemia with no frills bioavailable iron.

Gotta let the pan get hotter beforehand

Hardly. It was medium rare. If you take the opportunity to zoom in you will see pools of pink juice because it isn’t remotely cooked through. Higher heat and less time means a crusty outside and a pink inside.

But if making assumptions without even fully understanding the evidence in front of you is something you enjoy then more power to you.

This sub is full of expert internet chefs. I wanted to scarf the pic, assuming a medium at the very worst, but I’ve seen your other stuff, so I knew it’d be salivating one way or another.

To do what? Have a medium rare steak with a crusty outside? I already did that. Zoom in. You will see puddles of pink juice. That’s the result of a hot pan and a short time in it.

There are a fair number of people here that are not posting their food here every single day that are full of tips. Then there was this guy. Not a single post here in the two months I looked at and his only food posts are puns in a shit posting group.

As a moderator I like to see if the people talking crap are actually contributing.

I commented once on your publicly shared picture of your steak, that it looked way overcooked. This has clearly burned you pretty deeply, for you to still be going on about it and to this level. I guess you now have something in common with your steak.

As long as you enjoy it, that’s all that matters.
