One of our player characters says he's an atheist because he's never seen concrete proof of the gods' existence (to the incredulity of the paladin of Iomedae). I'm thinking of having him pass the Test of the Starstone, ascend to godhood, and immediately cease to exist because he doesn't believe in himself.

It’s way more fun for him to just refuse to believe he’s a god, while constantly subconsciously or accidentally performing divine acts.
