    This was the weekend Trump destroyed US exports.

    The left side of the EU Parliament was already against adopting the EU-US trade deal but did not have the majority.

    Now the deal is dead, as more parties outside the left are furious because of Trump's revenge tariffs towards countries protecting Greenland.

    Picture 1: President of The Progressives turns against Trump.

    Picture 2-3: President of Renew Europe turns against Trump.

    Picture 4: Chairman of the Trade Committee turns against Trump.

      @PG19582 @randahl That's the thing: It's not "Trump can't be trusted" it's "America can't be trusted".

      All it takes is one election and off they go bouncing happily towards this fucking mess again, and that's assuming the replacement even bothers to improve things rather than maintain as the new norm.

      @Vaneshi Yeah, speaking as an American, I think the rest of the world kind of gave us a mulligan after Bush and I think that was a big mistake.

      I don't mind our diminishing standing in the world; I think it's an overdue correction. But it's unfortunate how much it benefits Russia and China. @PG19582 @randahl

        @elCelio @randahl Ah, so it was just one of Trump's "E. Jean Carroll" moments.

        <sarcasm>
        You know I really feel for Trump as it is so easy to confuse the word "Yes" with the word "No".

        I mean both words have letters in them and they have almost the same number of letters as each other.

        </sarcasm>

        Can someone ask Meloni to raise the issue of the non-appearance of the Epstein files with Trump next time she speaks with the old rapist?

          Yeah

          Shocker

          #European "adult" politicians are being forced to admit that #DonaldTrump is *not* an adult, but rather a petulant, acute narcissist *and* a serial, pathological liar

          A poorly-raised three year old

          And it's way, way, way past time these sober European "adults" begin to wake up and see #Trump for what he really is and has always been, and act accordingly

              just read that our 13 glorious German army members who were sent to Greenland will be returned now: mission accomplished. Mr Merz is getting cold feet.

                @randahl There are two Americas in the US, the Union and the Confederacy. Unfortunately Europe doesn’t have any good way to deal with one and not the other. Do what you guys gotta do until we can toss the Confederacy out.

                    @randahl Time to remind everyone that any tariffs on imported goods are paid by Americans or American companies, not the country of origin. So Trump is making his own people bankroll his ridiculous Greenland ambitions.

                      they go from simple tariffs, to removing intellectual property rights or managing foreign investments coming from the hostile country.
