@CactuarJoe That’s-a lotta salt!! 🤌

Also do they sell models UNDER 50 inches? God damn people I'm sitting three feet from my TV, I do not need a TV that big
@CactuarJoe Do you have a thrift shop available? They have decent slightly-old TVs sometimes.

@CactuarJoe What resolution are you looking for? Costco has a 43" 4k Hisense for $200, and a 32" 1080p for $110.
Unfortunately, both are "smart" and Costco doesn't seem to sell any that aren't. There are commercial panels that are -not- smart., but those are significantly more expensive. Amazon has a 43" 4k Samsung but it's $450.

@trixter It's alright, I managed to find a decent sub-$200 TV new. Thank god. ^^

@wheeljack Weird how the not-smart is more expensive
But I found a passable 32" LG for $170, easy and done.

@CactuarJoe Doesn't surprise me. They're not making the ad/data revenue on the back end.

Had a frustrating moment where I thought this TV's latency was *atrociously bad* and I was gonna have to return it, until I noticed the power saving options were all turned on >_>
There's always eight layers of bullshit on these smart TVs, huh?

Suppose I should just be grateful it didn't have motion smoothing turned on by default >_>
