I keep stacking these proxies up and going Oh my god the deck is huge, it's too big, the cardstock must be thicker than I thought, it's gonna be such a pain to shuffle

and then I plonk down one of my standard commander decks next to it and go, oh, no, never mind, 100 cards is just a stupidly high number of cards

So I've been having trouble getting enough light to work with after the sun goes down and I finally broke down and just used my phone flashlight

And as I'm sitting there constructing a phone mount out of kneaded erasers and markers on the edge of my drawing board it suddenly struck me

what in god's name am I doing?

Anyway I'm really satisfied with the proxy I made tonight, I think it's my best yet. I feel like I made a real breakthrough with markers, it looks good.

And, uh, we'll keep the kneaded eraser phone mount thing between us, right? >_>;

@yoboseiyo I actually ordered an adjustable lamp for my art desk this very afternoon. But it won't be here 'til next week, I was working in my room instead of at my desk, andI shouldn't have been drawing anyway because my brain is pudding

so it's not like I was making any GOOD decisions tonight anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did eight cards today, it's time to recharge @_@

Also first time it rains (or is even slightly overcast) in two weeks, first time it's cool in months, I really shouldn't be surprised I have actual energy today
