@IndyRichard @randahl Reasonable people in the US are already saying “enough.” The key people that are not are Republican Senators and Representatives. Some of them are not reasonable people and are totally deluded. They’ve drunk the Cool-Aid. Many of them are reasonable people but they are afraid to oppose Trump because they and their families will become the targets of violence.

Personally I don't think Tim Walz withdraw from the re-election to better concentrate on his today's tasks/or MTG had an epiphany & became a saint & withdraw. All it takes is one election and off they go bouncing happily towards this fucking mess again, and that's assuming the replacement even bothers to improve things rather than maintain as the new norm.

Spahn is becoming more and more radicalized. He's a german MAGA disciple. Hopefully Merz will sack him soon, there are rumors. @IndyRichard @randahl well, he has reached historic levels of unpopularity. our political system makes it hard to get rid of the ruling party quickly, and the Supreme Court is in thrall to trump we we are kinda fucked form whole. Europe is wise to be considering its defense in a post-US NATO.

this US-EU deal was the worst thing the EU-Commission has agreed upon ever (complete surrender to Trump's trade war against the EU and criticized also by the industry)
the Conservatives and there especially the EU-Commission with von der Leyen are stuck so deep in his ass that they will surrender again - it is just a threat w/o consequences at the end -

Nous avons beaucoup à y gagner.
