@donray Right? I mean, everyone knew about the bathroom bill. And we were all loud about that. I had multiple conversations about it at work, where usually folks are careful about "talking politics." But the drivers license thing caught me totally by surprise.

Make no mistake. The Kansas law is going to be a model for other states just like the "Don't Say Gay" law went to other states. Just like the districts Gerrymandered districts along political lines were used to further disenfranchise BIPOC. Just like the "ID verification" laws for porn on the internet have become models. I'm ashamed to live in Kansas now. Maybe it's just the representatives that make this place awful, but it shows who the common citizens are when they sit idly by and allow an entire group of people to just have their licenses revoked for no good reason other than they're trying to set the stage for future ID blocks to ensure only they can vote in future elections. It's shameful and honestly, makes me rethink my view on my friends, neighbors and fellow union members. And, it's pretty sad that the only place I see anybody talking about it is here on this platform.#kansas
