@stux Still haven't had my central heating checked (it still works, but it's showing a service warning. And yes I reported it to the company, but you know - they are swamped)So fingers crossed it keeps working

@stux I sure hope Netherlanders checked the background on these folks because that's suspicious as hell.First, firearm deer season is a defined time in each state, usually September-January; if this happened outside that time frame they definitely needed to be checked out.Second, states require hunting permits/licenses with the exception of those few states that allow landowners to hunt on their own property; American hunters know better than this.These workers just sound sketchy to me.

@stux Globally the US election has been a disaster for conservative governments. As they say if you can’t be a good example then well at least you can be a horrible warning.

@stux 10 years ago on same day sitting at a noisy cafe in Amsterdam. At 20:00 we could hear the birds sing it was so quiet. Impressive - particularly b/c we visited Groesbeek to find a great uncle’s grave the previous day.
