A lot of games and other web software do that. Your idea of having the data encoded the URL would work great too.You wouldn't need to host any backend to make it work.

@EmpyClaw I had a conversation with this group once before about working together rather than trying to do it all as individuals. That really helped. I'm not comfortable saying that the one person's attitude/behavior needs to change. In my experience, people rarely react to that positively, either in the moment or in the long run.

@HeyeBodo I just finished reading the new (pre-release) Tribes in the Dark, which is a rewrite of the old Tribe 8 game. Cool setting. Badly needed new rules. My goal is to get a campaign going with my Wednesday group in the totally new-to-them story forward system concept. Some of them are seriously into hack-and-slash.
