I had the pleasure twice this week of introducing folks to D&D who are brand new to the hobby. I did realize he's wrong! I had a very nice cleric in the Ironfang Invasion story. That's why she had to retire half-way through the campaign. The brutality of the war just wore her down.She was a cleric to Erastil, and was just looking for a nice community to settle down in and support them. She settled in Longshadow, after we successfully defended it against the invading army, and married the barkeep. It was a lovely wrap up to her story.Then I made a totally irresponsible sorcerer.
