@SharpCheddarGoblin I’m one day planning to run a “Witches of Dolmenwood” campaign where the players are all witches trying bring back the old gods, depose all the monarchs, and bring self sovereignty to the people of Dolmenwood (through community building and mutual aid). I like the setting, but like you I can only read the church, the nobility, and all the other powerful people as obviously evil no matter the framing of the setting as written.
