    I don't get the point of introducing erotica to ai models, especially from a company whose motto is for AI to benefit all of humanity.
    Burning runaway to train models to make people confide in something that only feeds the user with delusions rather than addressing real world issues is beyond dystopian.
    Might as well support your local OF model rather than this.

      Might as well support your local OF model rather than this.

      It's not clear whether they're really planning to introduce anything new, or just lower safeguards they had in place previously which cause the model to decline such requests.

      I guess we'll find out soon if they're going to hire "companion engineers" to compete with Musk (who did exactly this for Grok).

        @eloquence at first i guess it will be just removing the guardrails but i highly doubt that gpt models or others are trained using supervised fine tuning and RLHF on erotica.
        In any case if profits boom, I am sure there might even be sexting experts to create data points for training.
