Is it just me, or do the bulk of “no Trump” complainers on the Fediverse happen to be white dudes from Australia—living literally on the other side of the world from the USA?
It just seems pretty odd that “I can’t do anything about Trump so I don’t want to see anything about him” is said by melanin-deprived men who assume they’ll never be invaded by the USA.

It’s not like you haven’t posted political adjacent content before and you’re not being fed to their feed via an algorithm

@SooJinL Yeah, when I tell them they don’t pay for my server, therefore have no power to decide any kind of content policy, their go-to reply is “You live in a society…”

Not your society, dude.Chris Trottier I always had a heavy sigh for the old “you’d never have survived the MW2 lobby” line, but it’s clear that many of these guys wouldn’t have survived basic chatrooms back in the day. Or at least, they would have found themselves very quickly banned from them.
