Every woman I have ever dated is a boxed mac and cheese originalist. They want it according to manufacturer’s instructions, no doctoring. Eventually they would demand just once cook it the “proper” way.

Well one time I handed them their bowl and then started dusting mine with curry powder. I could instantly hear what sounded like a puppy whimpering. It was her realizing that she had made a mistake and she also wanted curry mac.

    Cost per person: $1.60

I’ve never had a complaint when making it according to directions, then shredding some old cheddar on top while it’s still warm and mixing that in! Lol

Did Cristiano Ronaldo make a video showing everyone how to play guitar? Because Gordon Ramsay made one of him making fried rice.

Gordon Ramsay doesn’t know how to cook fried rice.

        … Or grilled cheese.

Edit: Come to think of it, I think the guy who messed up the fried rice was Jamie Oliver. Gordon Ramsay’s fried rice was actually okay.

Ramsay didn’t do good at the fried rice game. But Oliver is definitely the worst.

Huh, I’ve never though of adding eggs to mac n’ cheese like that. I make a bechamel sauce for my stove top mac. I might try that one, though.

This is just a dusting on top because they wanted boring and I didn’t. So I distributed into the bowls and sprinkled the curry powder on top of mine. I prefer the sharper taste of raw curry powder to balance the creamy mac.

There are all kinds of options. Like you could skip the butter and milk and use coconut milk with the curry mixed in.

I love adding some real cheese to the mix. And sour cream instead of milk. But for that it’s best to use full strength elbow mac instead of the weak boxed stuff.

Wife specifically requested the green beans be separate from the mac. I wanted to join them but it was a no-go.

I haven’t had hotdogs in my mac since I was a child and the memory of boiled hotdog slices in it makes me sad. Maybe I could try and change it up. Cut the hotdogs into slices but cook them in the air fryer for that perfect crispy skin that air friers do on even the cheapest dogs. Then mix them in.

You got it — air fryer is definitely the way to go. I never liked grilled hot dogs, thought it wasn’t much better than boiled and prone to burning (unbalanced heating — burned outside, undercooked inside). I know, it’s a skill issue. But air fryer makes it easier. And brings out more flavour.

That is the worst Mac and cheese I have ever seen. Brits make it better and from scratch.

                  Fuck packet food.
