While I write about German folk tales, I have no formal training as a folklorist.
However, I have decades-long experiences as a player of #TTRPG . Thus, I tend to approach analyzing folk tales as an amateur storyteller appreciating the works of other amateur storytellers - though removed from each other by a century or two.
