    I'm a big time AI pessimist.

    Organising your information based on some rules, auto categorising it, archival and disposal... even if AI gets some of those things wrong, companies/organisations will still think it's a good deal and cancel contracts, fire juniors. #AI #AIRant #Curmudgeon #NoAI

      And AI is such a big financial loss at the moment, you know they're trying to get everyone super dependent on it - and those who try to avoid AI will be considered less productive and deficient. And once it's vital to business, oh look, you have to pay, and pay more and more each year, until the money that would go to actual people for jobs is going straight to these AI companies. #AI #NoAI

        @mattb I enjoyed an LLM powered tool my work had for a bit, until I realized that the bit actually powered by the LLM was kind of buggy, and the voice to text was the bit I really enjoyed...
