Buffering is a thing of the past. Europeโ€™s internet is getting a long-overdue refresh.

Our proposed Digital Networks Act is here to scrap old copper wires and push modern and harmonised networks.

We are talking frictionless, high-speed fibre across EU networks and protecting net neutrality in innovative services:
๐Ÿฅ‡ Consumer-first approach with fair pricing and better support
๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Networks built to survive hacks and storms
โšก Pure speed for your internet experience

@EUCommission Does that Act include trustworthy ISPs and banning door-to-door salespeople waving shady papers and lying to people's faces to coax them into signing contracts?

@EUCommission Alas, the illustration is a perfect example of a centralized, non resilient network, with a single point of failure. Mastodon is a very good example of successful "innovative tech" because it's decentralized by design.

@EUCommission Please ensure that #IPv6 is at the heart of any EU internet plans. All ISPs and hosting providers should offer it, enabled by default.

The free market has failed to replace legacy IP because of the chicken and egg situation and it needs political pressure to engage.

@EUCommission wow, how much did your members get corruptly influenced and straight up bribed by corporations to do this? Seriously, how much were you each paid by corporations to make this?

What absolute garbage of corporate-backed for-profit ideas is this? Centralization, surveillance, consolidation of power while reducing regulatory power of independent regulators? Getting rid of rules that protect citizens?

You do realize that the technofascism industry isn't something to try to replicate?
