    This was my first time playing and GMing- I'm very lucky to have them as my first table and close friends. I'm really proud of them and the experience we built together.

    I have plenty of stories to share on request!

      There aren’t enough Pathfinder stories on the internet. Too much of the discussion around the game is really simplistic, rote numerical optimization and exalting of a handful of paper buttons hyped up as “serious tactical combat”, and not enough is actually talking about the shenanigans players actually get up to.

      Fill the space with shenanigans!

        @kichae

        They found themselves on a precarious platform- a lift with a chain mechanism at each corner; Centuries ago, this lift was leveled using said mechanisms on the platform and lowered gracefully from their anchors above; Time had long since rusted these into powder, and the wall to which the northen-most mechanisms were affixed had begun to separate from the damp soil.

        The five-man party was quick to operate each mechanism and release the 'slack' intended to keep the lift level, moving it down slowly. They feared time wasn't on their side and one of them, an umbral dragon, used his wings to glide gracefully to the ground- the swashbuckler didn't quite read the room and leapt as well, landing with a roll into the cave below while the elf sorcerer, amurrun rogue, and tengu alchemist were left one-person short to operate the lift effectively.

        The alchemist... always has some niche utility in his coat, and with a chuckle both from the player and his character, imbibed a Stretchy Arm Mutagen and easily grasped two of the levers and pulled, dropping the lift violently to the ground but with just enough resistance to prevent falling damage.

        Alchemists don't do a whole lot of damage, but the number of solutions they have to specific scenarios leaves them nearly as disruptive as a 5e wizard when in the right hands.
