    San Diego Asian culture is very different from in Vancouver.

    There is no separate Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese neighbourhoods in San Diego.

    Just one pan-Asian neighbourhood where all the Asian nationalities congregate. And it’s not a walkable part of town. More like a collection of strip malls.

          @atomicpoet
          What, you found Little Saigon?
          There is or was a specieic Mhong community…and the Laotians are closer to Oak Park than anywhere else. More Chinese around Claremont and Kearny Mesas. And two separate populations of Phillapinos .

          South of Mission Valley the Naborhoods tend to be kinda United Nationsy

          We did have a specific China Town maybe a century ago down in Horton’s Folly Urban Preserve

            @MishaVanMollusq Okay, Little Saigon is interesting but I’m going to have to research it more because every time I try to go to a notable attraction in San Diego, it turns out to be a strip mall. 😆
