You've just spent five hours working on the painting. You're too close. You can't see the errors anymore. Put it down. Go do something else. Best case scenario, don't look at it until tomorrow. Wait for new eyes.

@CactuarJoe gawd I could not live without my distraction games while I work and stuff.

@xerozohar I tried it a little this morning while painting and let me tell you I have never had to get up and pace around the hallway so many times in an hour.
