I've decided to use #lemmy (or to be precise, a TTRPG-specific instance) some more for discussing #ttrpg -related topics.
I mean, Mastodon is fine, but the very nature of the feed makes it difficult to keep long-term discussions going - an actual discussion forum like Lemmy is much better for that.
And thanks to the magic of the Fediverse, Mastodon users can contribute to the discussions there anyway (and so can those of most other Fediverse systems).

Jürgen Hubert Lemmy is better than Mastodon, for sure, but man do I resent the move the Internet made from bulletain boards to “content aggregators”. Topics fall off on Lemmy and Reddit almost as fast ad on microblogging platforms. They’re still geared towards new content, not ongoing discussions.
