I started watching The Pitt on Max (I was a big fan of early ER back in the day). It’s terrific but often brutal to watch.

Every time I watch a new episode of The Pitt, it unlocks a new fear in me.

Yeah, I started crying during the last 10-15 minutes of episode 8.

@Tim_Eagon I love that show, but there are certain parts I just look away from the screen.

@Craig I’ve decided to watch only one or two episodes at a time. I’m not sure I can take more than that!

@Tim_Eagon I completely understand. The graphic imagery and emotional roller coasters are a lot (in a good way).

@Craig The casting agent did a really good job finding actors to play grieving parents.

I got to episodes 12-14 of The Pitt last night (those who have seen the show know what events I am talking about). Besides the heartbreak and gallows humor, the show engaged in one of my favorite genres: smart, highly skilled people being smart and highly skilled under difficult circumstances. I look forward to watching the season finale tonight. BTW, just give Noah Wylie the Emmy right now and save some time during the broadcast.
