These days I feel all my 'nuanced understanding' of the world of the past was pointless mental gymnastics to appeal to a mythical 'center'.
A more 'black and white' approach to understanding the fuckers that rule this planet is, and always was, required.
@jd Centrism is an appeal to the mythical nobility of neutrality. At best it preserves the status quo for anyone who already has an ounce of privilege. The reality is it freezes the conversation and makes it easier for evil by favoring whoever is more willing to ignore "don't rock the boat" or "just get along" complacency, which is portrayed as something no good person would do, yet evil happily violates (paradox of intolerance).

@jd my conspiracy theory is that Corporate Social Responsibility policies that were put in place after '08 were renamed and rebranded as DEI as a way to break class consciousness and have a way to instill culture rather than class warfare

@jd Honestly, the cultural stuff isn't the worst thing in the files, but it's such an enormous shock seeing the cultural conspiracy in black and white.
Literally every awful cultural trend, from tribalism to anti-trans memes, every roadblock to a better world, in the last 20 years was cooked up by a cult of elite abusers, in poorly spelt, directly incriminating emails.
Anyone who lived through the last 25 years should feel a sudden, tremendous freedom. At least, I do.

Fucking hell i came to the same fucking conclusion reading about the Epstein files.
It's as if all the wildest fucking conspiracy theories, minus lizard people, materialised and are actually true, just less glamorous, less exotic and done by very, extremely, dumb stupid thick skulled boring people who think they're somehow geniuses.
Fucking hell.

TBH, I think the next liberal that tells me conspiracies don't exist will get a nice, solid backhander.
