These sketches are taking more time than the initial ones i made of the Character Design Challenge.
I dont know if I would rather have them simpler but faster or super detailed. What i am sure of is i am having a blast with these.

Some sketches i am making as Stock Art for DnD.
Any suggestion on the kind of depth these characters should have in order to be appealing? I think they need to follow a story and convey emotion, but at what extent? Do these need to be still somehow blank slates to allow the players use them for their own stories?
