@equilibrium@urusai.social I'm not a great teacher in that regard. But I think it helps to have a strong sense of yourself, your own personal values and likes, a jealous sense of what your time and person is worth, a preconceived notion of what you and will not do before someone challenges it, and a mindset to be on the look out for when people are trying to change all those things to their personal benefit. Often, people respect these qualities on their own, and the people that don't aren't usually worth the time.
