The short answer is: we had to move quickly. SpaceHost is shutting down very soon, and we’re working hard to fill the gap before their doors close for good.
To be clear, we are not SpaceHost. But both @atomicpoet and @rjbasitali used to work there—and we’re building GoFedi because services like SpaceHost should exist.
