@OctaviaConAmore @futurebird @emlove I can absolutely believe it's by morning people...I mean, I get that the actual farming generally needs the light of day. And certainly traditionally farming was done in the light of day. But there's so much else in the game and wow is it punishing on time to try to do any of it.I think of all the games of this type I've ever played it has the fastest timescale and the earliest bed time.

@slyflourish I love your “because of x, you know y” mantra. It rewards the players for their choices during character creation, it engages them in thinking about character knowledge, and quickly gives the information they need to engage in story without lengthy exposition nor having it trapped behind a knowledge roll.

@smitty I like to demystify my dragons somewhat, after having had the pleasure of playing several D&D campaigns that featured neither dungeons nor dragons. So my dragons tend to be like that movie where a bear had too much cocaine, except the dragon is high functioning, can fly, talk, breathe fire, and possibly do magic. So... Grizzly bear-sized, usually? Elephant-sized if I'm feeling feisty. Blue Whale-sized if I want to make *a point*
