I'm skeptical of "social media algorithms are designed to be addictive to minors" because clearly these people have never seen, e.g., the way old white people are hooked on Fox News and shit.@gwynnion On the plus side, algorithms have been used for evil a lot. So if this leads to more non-algorithmic social media, that wouldn't be a bad thing.
Whenever I hear, "save the children", I assume bad motives.
