    Since getting into 18xx games I wish that more game genres could begin printing games that reuse a common library of pieces. You could just ship a nice printed rulebook and perhaps a paper or cardboard game board (kind of like the wargaming world has done forever).

Endless kickstarters of derivative games produce mountains of indistinguishable plastic trash components, shipping big boxes of crap to whales all over the world that provide the funding for designers to perhaps break even on a passion project ...
