#ScribesAndMakersCreate a poll of three projects you've worked on and one you haven't. -
Question: Is this longer version of the "National Security Strategy" available online somewhere?@juergen_hubert yes, I can search it for you, if nobody else is quicker. Have to go back to my computer at home.

The people of the Eckernkrug Tavern in the Schimmerwald Forest hid a terrible secret.@juergen_hubert Schimmerwald is a great name for tales!

In order to slay a dragon, a house must be sacrificed.'n#WyrdWednesday https://wiki.sunkencastles.com/wiki/Of_the_Dragon@juergen_hubert Uj, even an Alsatian dragon! (Riedheim)
That dragon could explain how the US-Santa was made ... he once was a drak searching for chimneys!

In order to slay a dragon, a house must be sacrificed.'n#WyrdWednesday https://wiki.sunkencastles.com/wiki/Of_the_Dragon@juergen_hubert Already as a child, I hated all these dragon-slaughtering people.
Nowadays, we have quite serious evidence that many #dragon #myths could be based on very early fossil finds. Are there actually any kind dragon #legends, i.e. kind to the dragons?

So, this weekend I plan to clean under the stove.@datarama Fascinating. I could listen hours to such stories.

We also have these tiny creatures on the continent, with different names. If you leave them gifts, they are helpful, but if you forget them or try to clean them out, they can become very vengeful. We had rituals for the spring cleaning that they don't become angry.
I'm sure @juergen_hubert knows a lot of names for our dust bunnies aka nisse/tomte or HeinzelmΓ€nnchen/petits lutins!? -
So, this weekend I plan to clean under the stove.@datarama I'm fascinated to learn their name in different languages. It seems as though all cultures have a loving connection to them. Great for animism research: They don't multiply because I don't clean. They live and reproduce β like ants. They don't need us humans, but they are very friendly and fluffy.

So, this weekend I plan to clean under the stove.@elduvelle I would never kill them! @futurebird

So, this weekend I plan to clean under the stove.@futurebird I clean under a fridge only when I'm moving elsewhere.
In German we have a word for these cuddly cute well-rounded textile/hairy stuff you often find behind furniture, especially sofas: WollmΓ€use = dust bunnies (in German wooly mice).
They are social creatures, need not much food. An artist has a dust archive: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsches_Staubarchiv He has political dust as well as culinary dusts.
So, why design if you can have art? π€

I feel like I want to read some good ghost stories and/or folk horror.@gothintheshell something for @juergen_hubert ?

I know that there are all sorts of strange stories about miracles in Christian folklore.@juergen_hubert At that time, people still believed when church told them fairy tales about living "chaste".
Best example is the "Virgin" Madonna: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nursing_MadonnaIt is highly interesting and also disturbing how many contortions were made to conceal an ancient motif that existed even before Christianity (and in other religions): the nurturing goddess.
