@juergen_hubert Agreed - but they need to be deprived of that excessive power. If they aren't, & I fear they won't be, the result will a calamitous ecological catastrophe, where those least responsible for it will suffer the most. That is already the case, in fact.

Again and again, I see the notion that humanity is committing "collective suicide" because we are not acting on #ClimateChange and other forms environmental destruction.@juergen_hubert But we DO bear responsibility. Are we without agency? Who is it who allows the oligarchs to continue with their exploitation? Who allows them to maintain their wealth, their power & their privileges? If we don't rise up in revolt against them, we acquiesce in the system that creates the #climatechange, the environmental destruction, the loss of #biodiversity, & the social injustice.
