Oh yeah, and I guess there's the whole "I live in the current US as a Hispanic person (luckily I pass as white but my name doesn't) married to a Hispanic person (wife and kids don't really pass as white).

I've been sick lately. -
I've been sick lately.I've been sick lately. I thought I was getting better, so I decided against taking night time cold medicine before sleeping but I'm regretting that decision now. I didn't sleep well and I have to go to work soon.
Stress is high lately. My wife has a tumor that we've been watching for a few years now and it hasn't grown or anything but, it's causing her body to release tons of cortisol (the stress hormone) and she's got Cushing's syndrome because of it, so doctors are now saying it needs to be removed. Neurologists visit coming up soon to schedule her surgery. We're all trying to play it cool but brain surgery is a scary thing. Not to mention we're in the US, so who knows what the medical bills will look like (I have "good" insurance but medical bills can still end up being costly) let alone the fact that she won't be able to work for a while and I'll likely have to take time off to care for her. Wish us luck here.
The kids are doing okay. 5 year old hasn't gotten into any trouble at school this year (yet) so, that's an improvement. We were getting almost daily messages from his teacher before the winter break. The 22 year old is looking at getting into voice-over work but doesn't know how to really get started and is afraid she'll get scammed signing up to these "schools" she sees online. I have no idea how to help her here but, she hasn't asked for help either, so maybe it's best to let her do her own thing?
The least of my concerns lately has been just how busy I've been at work. Somewhat recently I've had a title change which makes it easier for my supervisors to pull me to go do other people's work, so obviously that's what has been happening every night. My own work is being neglected.

Some of us barely survived through 2025, but if you're reading this, we've made it through. Some of us barely survived through 2025, but if you're reading this, we've made it through. I'm proud of you and hope you do more than make it through 2026. I hope you find a way to thrive, however small your victories are, celebrate them. Don't let the worst parts of the world keep you from shining.

In 2026 we ramp up the campaign to make burgers wider instead of taller@HailsandAles
Just make them hot dog length so you only have to buy one type of bun for barbeques -
Working on my #pathfinder2e Grey Corsair campaign I'm about to launch, and I think the Steel Falcons need an epaulet like the Golden Legion, but I'm not too good at building items.Feels a little strong for a level 4 item but if there are other items that do something similar, it's balanced just fine. BUT, even if it IS a little overpowered, it won't be in a few levels. And, of course, there's always the option to make it a Relic that grows with the players' levels if it's something they really seem to enjoy, which gives you the ability to tweak it a bit as it grows
