I'm in Chicagoland, the ICE raids are terrifying, my neighbors sold their home and moved their family to Mexico last August because they felt things would get even worse and they were so right! 
I was protesting in Wheaton, known as a "Christian" suburb, recently and the turnout against ICE was amazing. We the majority, hate it too, stux, but we can only protest peacefully and vote.
The protesters are so brave and our elected representatives are so weak! They could end this!
I marched with my brother, his kids, his best friend and their partner, and several thousand people. There were 4 masked goons trying to intimidate the crowd, young men dressed in black with masks pretending to be ICE. They were surrounded by No Kings organizers to protect the crowd.
But how can we stop this when Republicans use the "law" to hurt us? I live in Chicagoland. Trump's goons are everywhere, snatching people with no warrants. Teargassing & pepperballing, arresting citizens.
The consensus on bsky seems to be that the republican fascists on Twitter don't have anyone left to scream at, so they are invading bluesky to taunt the resistance.
Blocking on bluesky is powerful, though. And there's no money to be made there, and they are grifters. So they spew their hate, get little reaction and no money so they leave.
It's a warning sign, to me. As I walk my neighborhood I am suspicious of any house flying an American flag.

or transgender flag, they're OK. Same if I see a sign for our food coop or supporting the library, these folks are OK.
There's one house with an American flag, shredded to pieces and stuck in their tree. Don't know it's story but I feel it in my bones
