Today, I learned that my dog, who’s 60 pounds of pure muscle, is deathly afraid of this:
-
@Tim_Eagon I mean he probably should be! Cranes do not mess around.
@Sadsquatch That crane was across the street, but my dog acted like it was in her face!
-
@Tim_Eagon Hell, I'm over 200 and I'd be nervous...
@chgowiz Sandhill cranes wander through my neighborhood every day. You get used to them.
-
@Tim_Eagon I nearly got kicked off a horse once on account of a goose. 100% plausible
@unixjunk1e Now geese, I don't fuck with!

@SJohnRoss @chgowiz I've had turkeys, swans, and geese charge me, but never a sandhill crane. They're pretty used to people now.
-
He's a smart dog. Those birds can be evil.
@crcollins The sandhills in my neighborhood (and there are a lot of them) are pretty used to humans.

@SJohnRoss @chgowiz Swans are just bigger, prettier geese.

@SJohnRoss @Tim_Eagon I'm OK with turkeys. I just try to get them to follow me into the garage and then... :draws forefinger across neck:
