@benroyce this reminds me of a recently published argument between Chomsky and Moinbot on whether what happened during the terrible Rwanda wars was a genocide or an atrocity.The letters between them really sounded like they fell out. I think there's a bit of pride in there too.

You seem to be pretty preoccupied with how people vote. Well, right now, in New York, there are thousands of voters who are fighting for their livelihoods. Kathy Hochul is actively stymieing their efforts. You are more upset with someone who is saying that she shouldn't do that than you are with her for doing that. And, you are doing this because, "[you] agree with [them] in the goal [they] seek, but [you] can't agree with [their] methods of direct action."

Like, what is the purpose of the Left if not to help working people seek better wages and working conditions? To provide them with dignity and equality?
