ELECTIONS MATTER! Even *IF* the regime tries to stop the election that the Constitution and the laws require, we *MUST* resist that! Getting people to feel despair only and stay home and just forget it is exactly how the right got a convicted felon into power last year.

@wesdym When I see someone talking about elections or impeachment as a useful tool it tells me that they do not understand the scope of the problem.
That's not cynicism.
Impeachment failed twice because the republican party won't voluntarily give up power. The mid-terms only have power if elections are free, fair and binding.
You can hope for those things, but hope is not a plan.
Today the only viable tool for a peaceful resolution the crisis is economically disruptive direct action.

@theleftistlawyer true. mexican courts did indeed convict them of rape, drug, and firearm offences. gotta love those mexican courts doing their job. BTW, remember when cartels had absolute control and courts were powerless? i certainly remember. i also remember colombia during the 90s. glad we have moved into an era of relative law and order.
also, psychopath squads in sudan, currently machine-gunning civilians, just like cartels used to do in mexico. funny how that's not a priority.
