@MikeMylerI strongly approve of taking inspiration from superheroes for sorcerer subclasses. IMO, the best way to broaden the concept of the sorcerer without *losing* the concept of the sorcerer is to say that while a wizard has an education and a warlock has a magic sugar daddy, a sorcerer has a superhero origin.

Getting a little tired of lazy #SciFi. Capitalism cannot survive a multi-planet, spacefaring civilisation. If you need scarcity, introduce something rare and important (Dune: spice). Logistics is always the most interesting part of economics. How to get stuff to where its needed, raw materials to manufacturing, manufactured goods to distribution. Food, furniture, clothing.
