There's no dialogue in the first fifteen minutes… and when they finally start talking, you pray for them to shut the hell up.Vampires on Bikini Beach was the week before Alligator and it was *objectively worse*.Alligator made mention of animal abuse, but Food of the Gods had real *on screen* abuse of rats.Alligator had bad science, but it also said up front that the Alligator in it was impossible and at least *tried* to give a plausible explanation. What's Grizzly's excuse?And finally: The Alligator crashed a rich people wedding, ate a buncha assholes, and then beat the car the main bad guy - an immoral pharmacy executive who paid people to hurt dogs - until it crushed him to death.Alligator was AWESOME.

Thinking about @moira 's list of improvements for Critters 3 (over here: https://mastodon.murkworks.net/@moira/115483660835128015) and yeah, I agree with all of that.Like, it should still have been about the kids of a recent widower, but the dad should've been more of an aggressive job climber instead of just having a job that forces him to be away a lot, and he should've gotten more scenes with Chett Landlordville the 3rd. Especially a scene near the climax where Dad looks at Chett and goes, "Oh christ, i'm literally THIS GUY D:"Also more than three Critter puppets would've been nice.#Monsterdon

@shimminbeg I suppose it would be difficult to roleplay through several characters variations on 'reluctantly taking up the sword' but I suppose you could factor in some sort of 'why are you doing this and not farming' aspect as part of your character generation. Of course the main issue is if they don't want to be adventurers then it's a game about 'being a miller's son' or 'is it harvest time again'. @Printdevil @BigJackBrass @ng76 @mrundkvist
