I keep on reading about an alleged influx of new users from #Bluesky . But when I check the stats, the total number of monthly active users on the #Fediverse keeps on declining - just as it has for the previous months.

So what gives?

@juergen_hubert They probably all ended up on mastodon.social instead of fanning out. It's one of Mastodon's major issues.
