Stances on gen AI by platform:* X/ #Twitter: You’re [r-word] if you don’t use this. I’ve saved lots of time at my make-work job, which I can now use to do even more work.* #Mastodon: I’m a developer and I have at best mixed feeling about this. Here’s why (1/25)* #Bluesky: finally, this will make the New York Times, the greatest villain in history, obsolete

@mastodonmigration @ikuturso @jackie I'll ask for those too. Should go fine, usually wherever i go security guards or police like to stare at me so i'm sure they'll be all ears after asking why i'm there lol.

@MarcusAnthonyCyganiak News to me - my own Mastodon feed is _very_ full. And I cannot complain about my interactions, either - I certainly have more now than I ever had on Twitter!

@Morgunin Well, you _can_ see posts by Bluesky users on the Fediverse if they are using the bridge from their side.Presumably, the people on the Fediverse who block brid.gy don't want _any_ Bluesky posts in their feeds.

@jorgecandeias I had several people ask me how to stop bridging, because they had bridged a while ago and didn't know how to stop it.Also people asked me how to stop seeing bridged posts. So, I've posted instructions on how to do both these things.

@Gargron Same here ! I just deactivated my account on there when I saw verified accounts of and JD Vance (of course I blocked them but that means phishing becouse blocking is not private on there).. I had 2.1K followers, but I had to deactivate. Now, I feel comfortable to be here, ~thanks for designing this nice platform.

@stux @_elena People would be genuinely surprised how easy that is to trace things back to them even with the "pseudonymized data". Sure it doesn't contain your name, but it still details (for example)- Age range- Rough location- Interests- Known associationsGuess how trivial it becomes to correlate that back to an individual? Age range and rough location are known data-points for governments (census) soooo, yeah. Easy-peasy unfortunately

Wow. Bluesky has just welcomed and verified ICE.For anyone still thinking Bsky is a real alternative to Twitter: No, it's not. Mastodon is. Bsky is just X at its infancy.#ICE #Bsky #Bluesky #fascism

@mythologymonday Indeed. If there is some strange rock formation (and the glacial erratics in the lowlands of Northern Germany count), then it's usually either the work of giants or the Devil.
