It looks good! What else did you put in it?
It’s actually very simple
- Fry onion on oil
- Add 1kg of any mushrooms (in my case it was oyster mushrooms + champignons, roughly 1:1 )
- Fry a bit until mushrooms reduce their volume
- Add 3 tbsp of ground paprika, a bit of ground cumin, salt and black pepper
- Cover the pot and cook for 10 min
- Add mixture of 200 ml almond milk + 200 ml soy cream + 2 tbsp of flour
- Cook uncovered for another 10 min
- Done. The dumplings are just a mixture of 350g of flour and 300 ml of water (and salt)
And it was absolutely delicious
I was actually surprised how good it turned out
EDIT: Original recipe in Slovak if it helps. I did some changes though (f.e. replaced butter with oil or used regular flour for dumplings)

I made this a lot when I was learning to cook. It’s relatively forgiving, as long as you don’t burn the paprika.

Mushroom dishes are actually perfect for beginers since they’re pretty forgiving and hard to mess up - just don’t undercook them and you’ll be fine!
