Well the bowls were made for French onion soup, so I made some! It was quite delicious. Not that one can see anything but the cheese, but I promise there’s soup and bread under there!

Meant to recreate this pizza from Blue Prince!
Has truffle sauce, fontina cheese, portabella baby mushrooms, pepperoni (couldn’t find non-pork salami) and two fresh basil!
Not wood-fired though, my stove is but electric. And there was that one side that stuck to the peel.
It was delicious though! I will absolutely make this again.

Store bought ramen, shin black beef bone broth. Marinaded the ramen eggs over night! It’s easier than I feared!
They’re very nice. But balsamic vinegar is delicious.

Apparently these are for French onion soup! Which I learned when I asked if it was oven safe and three different people were like “Oh, the bowls for onion soup. French onion soup bowls. One made purposefully for French onion soup under a broiler” and I felt very silly, but now I know they’re oven safe!
They’re cute little things!

Well, the start of apple butter! 7ish lbs of apples, 1/2 cup of sugar and brown sugar, couple teaspoons of cinnamon, tablespoon of vanilla, dash of salt, and a bit of nutmeg. Once cooked down and pureed, I’ll can it!

Homemade noodles, I’m always so happy with the noodles! The top did get a little too dark for me, but the rest is great!

It just fell apart! Alas!

First time at a hot pot restaurant. The one here finally opened after delays we thought doomed it. No photos of the pot, because once it arrived we started eating! Some photos of some of the plates though!

Too mustardy but still very delicious.

The first bite did burn my mouth!
We had to go through my great grandmothers hand written recipes and add measurements because of things like this, all the way back in the 90s it was an issue. A can of cherries was several ounces larger than it was then, and I guess even worse now.
She also liked to do a lot of “Add flour until it’s sticky” so we just added “Start with x amount of cups of flour then add more as needed”
I can’t make deviled eggs because I’ll eat every single one and that’s just not healthy! So I only eat them at parties and hoover them up then!
Horrifying, thanks! There’s leftovers, there’s no need to go that far, I promise!
They are coated in olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, salt, herbs de provance (spelled real wrong) and then the balsamic vinegar which was the most ingredient.
Just three minutes under a high broiler!
You pick a soup base, sometimes as a group or like here, everyone has their own little pot. Then you start requesting the various meats, veggies, etc to put in the soup base. Those plates of meat etc are brought to the table. You then stir those into the soup base then eat when done. There was also a serve yourself dipping bar so you could make dips to put onto the meat, also where the desserts were. It’s fun! It was all you can eat so just keep ordering the plates. Had to finish them though, or like a buffet you get charged for waste.
It was delicious! But I only wanted to photo the potatoes cause they looked a bit nicer!
