I've always been an indoors gamer type myself. Then when I was in my mid thirties I decided to grow a couple tomato plants in pots. Now I'm apparently a gardner. As much as I complain about it, I really like it. Seeing the seeds sprout, eating to veggies. I think I spend more growing than if I bought it, but I've still come to like it a lot.

You can hate it (and I do) but their tech is pretty insane. Dlss to me looks like complete garbage but to 99% of people its fine and doubles their fps. I think they're still an industry leader in hardware and ai.

I never liked the game: they broke the classical point-and-click concept with time-dependent things. Do something and then quickly do something else before something third happens. Pffft. But it was the last nice-looking(with some obvious shitty prerenders but retouched to look ok) Lukas Arts game -- later we got that horrendous 3d attempt for monkey Island 4 and Grim Fandango. Sad times...

Which is weird they're STILL having these problems, anyway. If you watch any of those making of Halo docs, it comes across like it was a fluke those games ever got released in one piece. Every time.

Dude no one here cares to hear about why it's an awesome game; this is obviously just a place to be cool cause you're ragging on the game, so carry on I don't really care about downvotes. I shared my opinion on the off chance that you actually did want a fun game to play, because then you could find out for yourself why it's amazing. You could easily just watch a YouTube video but since you're so willing to write a diatribe with your time I'll assume you do actually want to know why. It's gorgeous, seamless transitions between being on the ground, walking into your friends ship and walking around in the ship, getting in the seat to pilot that ship, flying in atmosphere, flying out of atmosphere, etc. varied biomes and terrain on planet, flying in and out of cities / space stations / landing in a space station and walking around in a space station all seamless all feels real. You can look out of a space station window and see your buddy coming in for a landing outside, persistent day night cycles on all planets so you can see sunrises and sunsets as you fly around in atmosphere or even from an orbiting station, combat feels really good in ship or on the ground but yeah Im not a big fan of no man's sky but if you aren't the kind of person that can 'make their own fun' in a sandbox game you probably won't like SC. My idiot butt got a custom pre-built just a couple weeks ago and the cooler pump has one of those screens as well. It is not working and I suspect a plug is set wrongly, but the pump works. Fixing it would mean ripping apart the pristine cable management and I do not care about lighting as much. Otherwise I am fully satisfied, but it niggles me a little bit to have paid 20-30 bucks more for a cooler feature that does not work. Maybe one day when I need to rip up the cable management anyway, I will fix it.

Maybe it will someday, if they think it'll make cracking harder or that there was something to gain from Windows lock-in they'd do it.
