I finally got a chance to listen to the entirety of Geese's new album Getting Killed (I had previously heard some of the singles, especially "Taxes"), and while it's good, I just do not get the online hype - it is nowhere near AOTY territory IMO. Everything was fine, but I've heard all of what Geese did on this album before and better. The 2nd half of the album is stronger than the opening, with the stand out tracks being "100 Horses," "Au Pays du Cocaine," and "Bow Down."#Music #IndieRock

While driving the computers over to the recycling event, I flipped on SiriusXM 34 and Tom Morello's show was on. The show was inspired by his D&D games; he described his friends' PCs and then they picked songs that they thought reflected Dungeons & Dragons. I was initially so confused why Led Zeppelin was playing on a 90s alternative rock station!#DND #Music
